Fee relief Program (Information for families):
NSW Government has announced its Start Strong Funding Program for Long Day Care to deliver more affordable preschool to eligible families.
To be considered eligible, your child will need to be:
- At least four years old on, or before , 31st July 2023.
- Attending an eligible early childhood education program.
- Listed on CCSS and not yet in compulsory schooling.
- If your child attends a preschool program at another long day care service or community preschool, you will need to nominate which service you will receive your fee relief from and you can’t get fee relief from more than one preschool service?
Please contact the centre to know if your child is eligible to receive a fee relief program.
School Readiness Program:
EMC School readiness program has been developed to serve as a foundation between early childhood education and the first formal year of school, kindergarten. By using an innovative and inspiring approach to early childhood education, we can provide our children aged four to six with the skills and exposure they need to excel in their new school. We collaborate with nearby schools like St. Canice’s, Katoomba Public School, and Leura Public School.
Literacy & Numeracy
Experiences are both integrated into the units and taught as skill-based learning activities. Both literacy and numeracy are important for children’s academic success and future opportunities.

We promote learning by engaging all their senses complemented by the use of modern technology.
